Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, full Taylor Alison Swift. American singer/songwriter who's achieved huge fame with the stories she tells of her young heartbreak. Swift had a passion for music since a young time. She quickly moved up in the ranks, beginning with roles in children's theater before performing before an audience of thousands. Swift started writing songs in the teen years. She sang The Star-Spangled Banner for a Philadelphia 76ers game. Swift, who took her inspirations from Shania Twain's music as well as The Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks in the world of music from the country genre, composed the original songs she wrote to express her experience with alienation. When she was 13 Swift's parents decided to sell their farm in Pennsylvania to move to Hendersonville Tennessee so she could devote more of her time to wooing labels from the country within the vicinity of Nashville.
